W13 located in downtown Los Angeles, plays host to creative nucleus of artists with diverse disciplines and cultures. It's an environment where collaboration and exchanges of creative artistic ideas takes precedent; it is a space to showcase art/designs in a deeply personal way.
Our central goal is to explore and exhibit world cultures and their varying artistic ideals. To create a fertile space where divergent methodologies can converge. To awaken the mind: an emergent artistic consciousness, which belies the normative social function of daily life, and celebrates diversity of art forms.
We have played host to numerous rich installations designed to provoke thoughts and explore the commonalities among the varying strata of art and design. Our Openings draw an eclectic mix of landed literati, art aficionados, and international curatives, which create an engaging dialogue between audience and artist.
